Niche, what does it mean?

    I was wondering what does Niche mean, I know its probably very obvious but I just don't know what it means, also if possible could some tell me any good Niches if possible

    A small portion of a much larger market. For instead "Windows VPS hosting" or "Cheap Los Angeles Hosting" would be niches of the "Web Hosting" industry.

    seo4china is correct. But niche, can also mean something that you are very good in. A common misconception with the term "niche" is that people use it when referring to a general websites topic (i.e. Cars, video games, animals etc..) in which they are not niches.

    A Niche is a very specific section of something, (IE: Animals>Birds>Parrots>*idk some rare breed of parrots*
