I wanted to ask a few question about niche websites.. I was just surfing and found a relatively less targeted niche...it has had around 750 searches in the month of march(overture tool)...and the main keyword get around 32 searches perday...(dp tool) My question is...is this stat enuf to go for this niche...i mean what are the ideal stats to get into a niche which is relatively less targeted... another thing...tho it is off-topic from the "keywords forum " How many pages should a niche website have...50..75..100...?? And what amount should one start with...15..20...25 pages...?? Thanks
Shadow, depends what your business model is. If its Adsense, then probably not. If you're looking for B2B clients, then probably yes.
so what is the amount of searches per day or per month for a website using rev system of adsense+affiliates..?
The only way to really get any facts is to put up a simple site and see what happens. Until you do that and get real data from real visitors its just a shot in the dark.
On my blog where I post profitable keywords you will notice that all of them have around 1k+ searches a day. Having that many searches per "according the webmaster tools" is almost essetial since traffic = money. Also out of those 1k searches a day you really have no clue on how many visitors you will get. So I generally make a rule where I wont target a keyword unless it returns more than 1k searches a day. Also for a niche website the amount of pages is irrelevant.
