Niche Taxi and keyword questions

    Okay -

1/ Anyone tried Niche Taxi - and what are your thoughts?

2/ When one finds a good niche - does that mean one needs to use that exact domain name - or does it simply mean - input those words into your meta tags? (I found a great niche via Niche Taxi - 415% rating - but the domain is taken - at least as a .com - not anything else ...but i'm a bit lost on what to do and how to work it).

I'm very confused by how some aspects of this works... (and guys - I have NO affiliation with Niche Taxi ...I honestly am a bit skeptical at how it derives the info on whether a niche is good or not)...

Oh - one last thing - I took the advice of the guys on my previous post and start researching topics that I have a passion for - that's when this one popped up at 415% rating ... so I'm not trying to simply find good paying keywords.

Any thoughts from anyone would help...

    Johnnie

Not sure - looks like both at this point (possibly even an affiliate listing from eBay - hard to explain how this is possible)

You probably have to plan first what exactly you have and what you can do with it. :)
    Take time to read forums.

Could someone explain what is meant by "affiliate listing from ebay"? What has that got to do with building a website?

    Thx

It's like Amazon's affiliates program, you can display specific items from eBay on your site, and if the user ends up buying them through your link, you make a % profit.

I don't know, I wasn't thinking and I just posted it here. He's already PMed me though, so it all worked out :)

Nothing suspicious is going on, Johnnie just didn't want to give the niche he found away to everyone.

LOL ..yeah guys - nothing suspicious - Alf's helped out a great deal - and thanks to all for the same. Regarding eBay - that pretty much sums it up - I guess my question on top of that is - is it against Google's rules to have 2 different types of programs on one site (re: eBay affiliate code and Adsense)

As long as AdSense is the only contextual ad service on your site, you are not violating TOS.
