Oh not me, it's just the forum rules to not make self promotion threads, especially in wrong forum section, but who cares really? I love shearing, especially with all my indian friends.. I was thinking maybe when I want to self promote stuff I could do it on your site, do you think it is possible?
My niche site ideas are for use with Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs so I figured that this would be an appropriate section. And how is giving free information away self-promotional? Would you rather me post the info with the link?
Yes, if you posted the info with a link to register to your mailing list, it could still be seen as self promotion but would be better. Simply imagine if moderators were not deleting such threads on a daily basis, the state of the DP forum would be even worse.. Anyway self promotion is simply creating a thread in order to drive DP readers to one's site for purpose XYZ. In your case it is to build your list and probably get more pageviews for ads purpose, I don't know haven't clicked the link.. Anyway, I was just passing by, don't sweat over this I'm not a moderator and haven't reported your thread, I don't care, just posted a quick message but without thinking about it really

I don't know about that really, haven't thought about it, I just know that self promotional threads are a big no-no here since in the long past I have received penalties for doing that, was several years ago..
Well if you work a little on your signature, you can achieve the exact same effect by simply answering to threads of other related to niche ideas. And without any risks of penalties, simply answer the questions or give your opinions. Don't do the "thanks for sharing" small posts that many indian/pakistanese member do, this achieves nothing. But if you post some answers, people will read them and automatically when they read your signature and see "Check my daily niche ideas suggestions here" they'll go check. I know I have recruited many members for my multiusers sites in my sig this way in the adsense section of DP.
