I am trying to do some niche research and see what I am good at doing or my passions. What are the tools I will need to do this research? Or is there a guide I can I can go by? The stickies are great but a little bit confusing. Here are the steps I came up with. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Find my passions
Find what I like to do or what I know about
Narrow the categories down to 3-5 niches
Use Wordtracker to look up keword phrases
Use Google Adword Tool to look at cpc and monthly searches etc..
    Create a blog or website
    Write 3-5 informative posts
    Add adsense
Get an account with Clickbank and search for product related to niche
    Promote blog or website

I would say write a list of all the things you like or interest you and then perhaps things that fall into those areas. I am knowledgaable about the parenting sector and love home/house stuff so setup a blog dedicated to childrens furniture. Being able to mix your niches to combine them to be stronger can help you get a market edge.

i use wordtracker and google adwords account for phrases and volume of traffic

i then create a robo blog or a human blog with robo blogs directing to it.

i add either adsense or targeted affiliate marketing ads. i tend to start with both until i get a feel for which performs better. i usually try and integrate affiliate links into blog posts.

    then i start promoting it

    good luck!

I would look into the New tool by Google Insights.

This tool is great in showing you keywords that have over a 5000% breakout for keywords I would of never of thought of using.
