    Hey all,
I am new to blogging and I'm still looking for the proper niche for myself. I am a home decor enthusiast and I notice it's a smaller niche at this current time. I see sites like Yankodesign and Freshome have become very successful. Oh and also luxuryhousingtrends.

But is there concept of content, okay?, like if I decide to work on this for lets say... a year, should I be worried?, or just go for it?. I want to find cool stuff off amazon, and other sites that suit the home in unique ways, you know the unique stuff they sell like a robotic lawn mower or glow in the dark window blinds... know what I mean?, is that worth it?. TIA.

I suggest you to just go for what your passion is. It is always better and much easier for you to work on something you are passionate about.

You can blog about anything you want online and you can sell any products related to your passion on your blog. This is how you will be able to earn some money with your blog and the content you share.

People like to hear from people that is passionate about their subject because they know the content is worth reading. They know someone like that will deliver great information.

The key here now is to get your blog on front people. You will need to learn how to get your content read by people otherwise there will be no point on creating content and publishing it on your blog.

This is where internet marketing strategies come in. You will need to use some strategies to promote your content online. Once you get people to read your content, depending on how good and valuable your content is they will share it on the social networks and perhaps leave you a comment.

There are many ways to promote your content. You just got to learn the strategies and go for it!

I really hope this information helps you get started online!

    Much success!

It is much better and easier to blog about something you know and love. You can be successful in other areas, but it won't be nearly as easy. :)

I would go for it especially since you know so much about it already. Blogging can get difficult and writing fresh content is tough, but by knowing the material, you can come up with new ideas for articles almost every day.

Yes it's worth it. You definitely have a profitable niche there. And since it's small it will be less competitive. Go for it and just focus and keep at it no matter what and you will succeed.
