I have been researching an industry-sector for the last two years. Top level domain bought etc. Now, last week , doing final checks with Google Keyword Tool I discover a niche product within this industry-sector eclipses all other search terms in this industry sector by a factor of about 10. I was shocked to learn of this. Its the first time I've ever seen, (what I thought was) a long-tail search term be a widely used search term. Should I scrap my plans for this top level domain and use the keyword for this niche product instead?
Yes, you should, but if the route domain is too long then it doesn't look good, so do domain should be neither short nor long, it should be of minimum size, in this size if you are able to use the keyword then it is awesome. Sometimes, too long keywords are not the real keywords and they are not searched by human or may be a combination of two keywords.....
