(Like title or w.e) -Or is it on adsense? PLEASE help...
Niche means like sectors, sector like entertainment, news, PC, mp3, download etc. My niche is wallpaper/download niche. I guess u understand now.
No i don't... WHAT IS IT... WHERE DOES IT GO? (FOR ADSENSE) IS IT IN CODE? OR WHAT? or is it just a offline piece of crap people use to identify sites?
Yes its to separate website subjects. If you make a site of "Health Tips" then your niche will be Health Niche. Got it?
niche is a genre - if you have a niche website, it means that your website focuses on particular segment. For example let's say Paul owns a car forum which was built for people to talk about cars, Michael has a celebrity forum which was built for people to talk about celebrities and Joe owns a general forum which was built to talk about anything. Paul and Michel own a niche forum. Paul's niche is cars, Michael's niche is celebrities. Joe's forum is general, it is not a niche forum because it doesn't specialize in a particular topic. Niche forum would be easier to market, because instead of trying to address all people of the world, you would be only addressing people who are interested in this particular niche.
Niche is basically what your web site is focused on. It is in your content. If you have a high paying niche meaning that Google will charge advertisers more for that particular niche you will receive more money from every click.
I think you should concentrate on putting more keywords into your posts. Go to google and type in google keywords or look about this site for advice on using keywords to get better adverts, good luck !
If you have a niche website - if your website specializes in some specific topic, you will find it easier to retain surfers and your bounce rate should be lower too. Let me use previous example again: Paul owns a niche forum website. His niche is "cars" and the site has 100 threads each about cars Michael also owns a niche forum website. His niche is "celebrities" and his site has 100 threads each about celebrities Joe has a general forum. His forum doesn't specialize in any particular niche. He also has 100 threads, 10 of them are about cars, 10 are about celebrities, 10 are about politics, 10 are about music, 10 are about poetry..... etc. Now, if you are a car lover searching for something and you visit both Paul's and Joe's website, you will see that Joe's website has an interesting thread about a car, but that website also has a lot of other topics you are not interested in. Where as on the other hand Paul's website is all about cars with all members being passionate about cars, hence you are likely to join Paul's forum than Joe's. Because Paul's forum will naturally attract people who are into cars and people who don't care about cars will not be interested in his site, he will have targeted traffic. If people search for a particular car using a search engine and they see the link which belongs to a car specialty forum, they are more likely to visit that link. This means that most traffic Paul gets is targeted - interested in his nice, which is "cars". And since Paul's niche is cars, AdSense ads served on his website are related to cars. Now if you add both of these together - Paul gets surfers who like cars and all of the ads on his website are about cars - that means his surfers will see ads about what is of interest to them. Because if you like cars and visit Joe's website, even though there is a thread about a car, if you go elsewhere on his site, there will be topics of no interest to you and that also means the ads displayed will be of no interest to you. So you will not click. This way, Joe is going to receive a lot of traffic that doesn't click much. And because Paul has niche website, his click throughs are likely to be higher.
