I didn't find a way to reset the price. Since traffic and earnings are down, BIN will now be $147. I've added articles and upgraded the site, improving descriptions so there is more relevant information for search engines to grab onto. It should start producing earnings again, since it is a site with relevant information for visitors.

And why are you selling?

 

I'm selling with the intention of using the money to reinvest in a couple of more ambitious internet projects. That said, I'm not desperate to sell by any means. If no one is convinced of its value, that is fine with me. I'd be just as happy to keep it. It's a good investment that will takes care of itself, even hands off. If the reserve price is not met, no sell. So anyone who wants to lowball it, forget it -- it ain't happening here, lol.

 

I personally think that you need to review your asking price on the site, i mean it would have more value if there wasn't stuff like this about:

This shows a post by someone called Dave who consistantly reuses your content or vice versa...

Duplicate content is heavily frowned upon.

 

I base the price on amount of revenue it generates. I have an mp3 site listed for sale here that has 100% unique content and hasn't performed as well, and therefore its asking price is much lower. The proof is in the pudding, not in speculation about "unique content."

 

Ironically, the copyscape result shows an article that I wrote myself, "Excercise Bikes - Great for Cardiovascular Fitness." Ain't that something? C'est la vie.

I was just looking at the analytics for the top ten articles. While I have a number of original articles on the site that I wrote, not one of them is among the top ten, or even the top 20.

I think "duplicate content" refers to sites that are clones of other sites, not sites with some of the same articles, and that is why news sites do very well even though they are full of articles that are also on other news sites. Otherwise the news sites would be out of business, lol.

I just look at the actual performance and delivery of a site. If it is performing well and delivering well, that is what counts, whether or not it includes some articles that also appear on other sites.

I'm putting this site back on the market. There are several new articles set to automatically post on the site. The theme has been updated and ugraded and premium WP plugins have been added to the site.

 

Any changes of the stat?

 

The stats have gone way down since I put the site up for sale on forums.digitalpoint.com. Doing so clearly downs traffic, since it always immediately happens to sites after I put them up for sale. Google seems to punish people for doing it.

It is strange, but it never happened until putting them up for sale here. Traffic has started to increase since getting premium membership which allows me to choose the option for search engines not to spider it.

BTW, this site is still available. It is actually nice Internet real estate.
