Niche directory as subdomain (6 years old domain)

    I have one 6 years old site about mobile communications. How do you think, is it good idea to set a subdomain with paid, niche directory (mobile communications) at this domain?

    A great idea. It would make a very useful addition to the rest of the site.

    Allowing free submissions may be a better option. Content is king, and you will fill the directory with useful sites much quicker by allowing free submissions.

    Yes, I meant to say Free & Paid niche directory about mobile communications :)

    I also think that subdomain at this old domain will be much better than new domain.

    just be careful to keep the directory full of good quality sites as it wont reflect well on your main site

    That's good idea. Some of the webmasters might also give you a link back to 'main' site :)
