I am planning to buy a laptop within the month. Acer Aspire 4520G-301G16 caught my attention. I'm buying it brand new at around $1,200. What can you say about the specs of this laptop? Do you think I'm buying it at a good price? If this one is not good enough, can you suggest something else that's around $1K - $1.2? --Joe
well Man I wouldn't suggest you to take ACER it's cheap firm, I would suggest you better to buy Deal Laptop and with waranty even if you would crash it they will give you new one without asking.
You may struggle with vista and other apps, even using my quad core with 4gb ram sometimes its noticeably slow with photoshop and other programs, this is with vista ultimate though. But if your a power user you will struggle on that with vista, your better off getting a custom built one, you'll get a much better laptop for cheaper. Check out cyberpowerpc or just google some.
