Nice to see Google working like this!

For the last few days I have been click-bombed on one of my sites. Right now, for example, I am showing almost 500 clicks (usually I get about 100 in a whole day). However, the earnings from those clicks are not even 2 bucks. So Google is actually filtering all the invalid clicks my site is getting.

It sure makes me feel good seeing Adsense working in such a perfect way.

I dunno fryman. I can't rememebr where but I'd swear I remember reading about somone I highly doubt would commit click fraud and got their account banned even after google filtered the invalid clicks. I'd definitely gather all the proof I could from Google that they told you it was OK and that they were monitoring.

Or maybe you've just been a good solid earning member for a long time and they tend to give us the benefit of the doubt?

What for? They are busy enough and last thing they need is having me sending emails and wasting their time. The system works perfectly. This has been happening for the last 2 or 3 days and all the clicks have been filtered.

Congratulations to Google for having such a great system.

Just to let them know that you've noticed that and to make sure you won't get banned because of that

I agree, you should still let them know. I did, and they thanked me for it. Offer to send them server logs, too, if you have them. They may still want to look at it more closely.

Best thing to do and keep a copy of it plus time and date sent.

Google is not a god and account handlers can be 19yrs olds reading a script of what to do so cover your arse mate.

Seems to be an ever rising way of getting back at Google. Anyone is at risk of an attack that has Adsense on their site. Most people have removed links to sites from signatures and profiles for that reason.

Here is the scenario - A banned Adsense individual does a search for banned adsense and finds forums like these. These guys are ticked off and the first thing they see is you website and a message saying "woohoo I made 5xxx.xx dollars this month." The Banned individual is angry and decides to take it out by CLICK BOMBING the site.

The above scenario has happened more than once and is usally worked out in the long run by Google. But it can get you temporarily removed and a loss of revenue during that time. So just being an active member of this Forum could get you click bombed - all about wrong place wrong time.
