    I just logged on to the keyword tracker this morning and I have 5 keywords which are number 1 normally. I pressed the Check All button and came back to it 5 minutes later to find that I had 8 number 1's and a few competitive keywords which had been outside 200 had launched into the top 10.

    Anyone else notice any huge changes recently?

    I saw some huge jumps from Yahoo... problem is that keywords jumped from #128 to #35, so they still don't bring in any traffic... I hope the update isn't over yet and the keywords keep climbing up... I have loads of top-10 rankings at MSN and don't get any visits from them.

    hehe.

    I just checked the all the datacentres on mcdars site because when I manually typed in one of the keywords into Google it was nowhere to be seen but it's definitely showing across 80% of them at number 5. Let's see if you can guess which keyword it is TOPS :)

    [search=google]Zoe Forrester[/search]
    [search=google]The Present Shop[/search] (UK)

    I see a couple didn't have Meta Tags! (That's where I sniffed for KWs...)

    No changes here except the odd green or red (1). I haven't added a ton of keywords in for my two newest sites so maybe its not a great comparison.

    Those surprises are great except when the drop back the next day

    How many words are you guys tracking?

    I'm managing 6 KWT accounts with well over 1200 words... (Track-o-holic!)

    I just see the normal small jumps but the overall trend of better ranking...

    Im actually in the 2-300 range. I might go mental if I had to watch the rise (and sometimes fall) of 1200.

    1200 words? Must take half a day to get them to update.

    I just track about 50. Only the main keywords from every site. No use on tracking keywords that will only bring me 2 visitors a day.

    I need a 7th for my personal stuff soon. My blog is ranking well for the most interesting phrases. No sandbox or ranking delays whatsoever for new blogger blogs.

    I didn't write SEOed at first but then I got referals from good phrases like blackberry phone (#10 G WW) and personal business coach (#4 G WW) so I changed the plans... Dying to know its ranking trends though...

    I also have a huge amount of extremely strange word combinations that I am #1 for. If I put those all in I would probably be tracking at least 5000 keywords. Of course I might get arrested for some of them (Who are these people anyway?)

    Hot Irish Girls brings me a lot of traffic although thats hardly even close to the worst ones (some scary fetishs, I'd say).

    95% of those I track are 1 - 3 word phrases, nothing obscure and a high enough search volume that it's worth ranking for.

    Large volume KWs being tracked also gives me a better overall view of how the site is going in terms of ranking. If yuo only rank 20 and 5 drop 10 places you might think something's up but those 5 are far from a significant number. I guess that's why so many freak out so often after the smallest of drops.

    Start tracking over a 1000 and you'll see it all in perspective :)

    I track about 60 keywords. I've built a script which tracks the queries that users find my sites with. It's a bit messy but it does the job.

    Nice one, exactly what we did as well. Ours tracks conversion as well. We basically cloned SaleTrack to an osCommerce script and made it better :D

    When we find a well converting phrase we turn up the SEO on that one.
