    Hi all,

I had a problem with no impressions after 3 days. I contacted their help (email) and they were back to me within a day. This is what was said, there's some very useful info here especially good for newbies like me.

AdWords Specialists have just reviewed your ad, so it should now be
running. Your ad was not displayed for a short period of time because it
    was in review.

Ads submitted to our programme are reviewed according to our advertising
policies and guidelines, which can be found at
    https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/guidelines.html. Changes to your ad
text, URL or keywords will also be reviewed. Please know that some ads
will not run until after they have been reviewed.

To avoid interruption in your ad delivery when you edit your ad, create a
new ad in your Ad Group instead of editing your old ad. Your old ad will
continue running while the new ad is reviewed. Then, once your new ad is
running, you can simply delete your old ad.

In addition, you might be interested in the Ads Diagnostic Tool. You can
use this tool to see whether your ad is appearing on the first page of
search results and to identify why a particular ad or group of ads may not
be showing. On the Keywords tab of your Ad Group details page, point your
mouse at the magnifying glass icon next to any keyword to display a help
bubble with information about your keyword. You can also access the tool
at any time via the 'Tools' link on the 'Campaign Management' tab.

Everything working as it should now. I wish I'd seen this at the beginning. Thanks Adwords guys!!

Those lovely Irish google girls and guys are the most professional, polite and patient in any call centre anywhere (if you're in the UK that's where the support people are located).

I have to agree. I have met some of them personally here in Dublin and they are awesome!
