    Ive been trying to figure out what you ment by "smooth" for the longest time, i think i have it now.. (maybe.. lol )
    So the top one is with the original text, but i took out a few "affects" to make it smoother...

    after posting this.. and looking again at the text you pointed out... i probably should have left out the Shadow..and perhaps outline to make it flatter as well... thanks for the feedback :)

    Hello Everyone,

    Before I start I want to thank all contestants for entering and posting their designs here.

    Here is my feedback on some of the designs posted in the last 24 hours:

    Valid: The design looks to simple. I like the basic outline of things. However, to simple. Please make it header size, and add something to the right of the header design.

    Coden: I still think it’s a nice design but also think, the cd’s alone like that kind of throws me off hole Hot Deals Weekly name. Nicely done through photoshop though.

    Larytheloafer: Nice designs actually, however I’m not looking for a design for a liquor store website. The header design looks more of a commercial sign than anything else, with a weird background. Its not what I’m looking for, for this website.

    Joidiamound: the design does look a lot more “smoother” haha. And will definitely be considering it as one of my top picks. However I still have a feeling that it looks more suitable for an actually ecommerce market type design than a Blog for Hot Deals Weekly.

    Hello Reuf. You have a nice design. Just one thing that needs to be changed. Please Make the word "Weekly" go in with the word "Deals" in the red box.
