nice CJ tip for "declined" affiliates

This might be old news to some, but I found something interesting in regard to getting accepted by affiliates that have previously declined you (especially those "declined" messages that show up the instant you attempt to join)...I finally hit a 4/5 bar rating, and attempted to join all of the more 'high end' affiliates that previously rejected me, like Priceline.com, Home Shopping Network and a few others..this time, I was approved on the spot with most of them. It looks like those decisions are based on your bar rating?

Hey, I think it works. There was a mass amount of Education offers I couldn't get approved for. Now 2 of them instantly approved them. :D

I think something is wrong though, its saying I made $310.00 in 10 minutes

    x Millions...

Quick, apply to every merchant before CJ fixes the mistake.

does anyone here actually sell through CJ? What are the options you get for approving publishers? (ie, based on rating, 7-day earnings, etc?)

Auto-declines can be based on the following criteria:

    Publisher's country
Publisher's earnings bars (New, or 0 through 5 green bars)
Incentive website (sites with a special/incentive description)
Publisher's website categories (this is generally NOT used, CJ doesn't recommend that advertisers use this)
Manual addition to the auto-decline list (for advertisers who have banned specific affiliates)

Manual declines may be based on anything that the advertiser sees in your profile (EPC, earnings bars, website name, website content, website type, promotional methods such as email, search, or software, etc...).

I think they mean the network earnings. When you log in, it's in the upper right in the section called "Network Performance."

There are 5 bars in a line. Work hard and light em up. :)

I'm not sure there's a direct correlation. The original poster talked about how priceline.com rejected him at first. However, when I joined CJ, I applied to priceline.com and was accepted (along with many other similar services).

A few months ago I starting hitting 4 bars each month and since then I have noticed that I rarely get declined. And I was accepted by a couple of merchants who previously declined me.

Just worked! I'd been waiting to get approved for a program and was eventually declined. Just tried again with 4 bars and approved! thanks!
