I suppose there's a good possibility Paul may do better in the city precincts (and Huckabee in the rural) so if it's the rural reporting first... *tries to see silver lining* :)

McCain is running away with it so far, almost 2,000 votes over Romney. Surprising the 10,000 years in Iraq didn't hurt him...

Yes. That's just unbelievable to me. I can't believe people are still voting for McCain. Did they not hear that comment? Do that many people really like the idea of being in Iraq forever?

This is crazy, how can they declare McCain the winner so early? By my count, he's up less than 2,000 votes. PEANUTS.

Most be some kind of statistical extrapolation.

hes 9 points ahead...that would be a HUGE margin to make up with even as little as 12% of the results.

I doubt it will be this innocuous to him around the rest of the nation though. He will definetely lose votes in some other states because of this, or atleast hopefully.

Yea, his odds were very high from the beginning so that might play a part in it.

Any of you guys seen the "CNN Non Paul Pie Chart?"

Both Giuliani and Paul are on 9% less than 200 between them.

On the pie chart you have McCain, Romney, Huck and Giuliani.

There is a gray piece from the Pie Chart that is the same size as Giulianis piece with no name next to it.

If he overtakes Giuliani into 4th will we see his name???

    I doubt it!

Paul is still behind Guiliani, but they are both closing in on Huck, good sign :)

Haha I doubt he's calling bullshit, but I'm also curious how they are calling the race so quickly. Is New Hampshire THAT uniform in voting trends across the entire state that they can call it now? Wow.

Funny you mention it because the same exact thing happened with Iowa. They left a huge open space, when they could definetely fit Paul's 10%. Meanwhile the Democrats had Richardson on there with less than 4%.

If anything wouldn't it be the opposite due to the large number of independents?

Poor fucking Thompson lol, he's only had a few peeps voting for him. :(

Only 350 votes last time I looked.

Damn even our main man GTech with help from the Crazy Gang could probably do better than that! :D

All Law & Order fans probably. Chances of Thompson becoming president are as slim as Chuck Norris getting an Oscar nomination.

Good point. I'd like to see how analysts call these things. Probably some very interesting stuff.

i just checked out cnn's exit poll. the good news? paul is almost definitely going to beat giuliani for 4th. the bad? he's probably not going to catch huckabee for 3rd. it looks like this huckabee 12%, paul 10%, giuliani 8.5%

Wow, Clinton has about a 2,000 vote lead over Obama, she might actually pull this off (its still too early to tell, but its possible). They haven't projected her winner yet though.

the really surprising thing tonight is it looks like clinton/obama is going down to the wire. all the pundits thought obama would win in a cakewalk (10%)

It's surely still too early to call mate at 14% in.

This could be very interesting as the night goes on. :)

It's already 1.30a.m here in the UK but I'll be enjoying this, I even just made me some popcorn. :D
