    "Tony Romo this...Tony Romo that....."

Gimme a break, I'm really sick of hearing about the Cowboys and Tony RomA.

I'm watching the Packers vs Seahawks on Monday night and the Packers started out good and had 3 picks on Hasselbeck and recovered a fumble for a TD and in the second half they came back big time, Alexander has over 200 yards and 40 carries and Favre has thrown 3 INTs, I thought we had a good chance to win and get back into the playoff picture, a win would have put us one game behind the two wild card team. There is a VERY slim chance we can win if we get a TD and kick and recover on onside kick and get a field goal and win in OT or get another TD and win in regulation but it's probably not going to happen. But hey, Favre won me my fantasy game

We looked terrible against the run. But great against the pass, 3 or 4 INTs until the second half then we just sucked it up.

You're attached picture is exactly why I thought that game should be the Sunday Night game.

The networks can reserve a certain number of games each week. So it's not like NBC can just pick whichever game they want.

It's supposed to be a high of 22* here on Sunday....so I'm just glad the Bears/Vikings game isn't at night. For a while they were saying it might get picked up.

Some goofy bastard actually did that last year. It was about 30 degrees out and he tailgated and went to the game in shorts and no shirt. And his body was painted in Bears colors.

I don't think many people will do that Sunday....with a high of 12-degrees now!

The Cowboys looked pretty good today, but the Colts lost another game. Who would have thought?

what game were you watching?? ;) :D

they (Cowboys) did just barely enough to win and so that makes me happy but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they looked 'pretty good'. they looked just ok IMO.

TO had 2 more drops (at least one of them would have been for a 1st down), the defense let the Giants drive the entire length of the field like 3 times, Tony had 2 ints.

not to mention that the Giants helped them out with what, 4 personal foul calls?

I guess you could say pretty good on account of the outcome. They beat a charged up Giants team so that in and of itself is quite a victory, and certainly puts them in the drivers seat for the division. :) :)

I am old enough to remember the Cowboys losing close games like the one yesterday on a daily basis. You are right about them not playing as well as they should have, but considering their preformance the first four games of this season, I am happy just to see them escape with any type of victory each week.

yes, a far cry from the Campo years even.

I cannot agree with you more, they've made huge strides since the inconsistent play of the first 4-6 games, TO drops notwithstanding; though he did have 8 catches.

if nothing else, it's a relief to see them not have 11 penalties a game!!

Next week ought to be another tight/good one with NO!!

On a funny note, the Cowboys new field goal kicker did a pretty good job yesterday considering he had not played in the NFL in almost two years. My wife asked me why he was praying all the time during the game yesterday and I said he probably realized what happen to the last guy Parcells hired that missed back to back field goals in a single game! :)

Yes, pretty amazing considering his limited work since 04....I'm sure lorien1973 knows all too well the story behind this guy!

Kickers need all the prayer they can get :D :D

I still can't believe vanderjagt got cut, considering all the money they invested in him.
I wonder where he'll end up next year...

I don't have any idea where he will play next year, but if no one picks him up doesn't Dallas have to pay him the next two years? If so, Jerry Jones might be trying to find some team to take this high priced kicker off his hands!

it hurts no question, but he was riding a thin line from the moment training camp opened.

they have to pay his accelerated signing bonus, so $1.6M goes on next years cap.....ouch.

They don't have to pay his base salary next year but will have to for th reminder of this year unless someone picks him up. don't quote me on that last part....I'm 100+ about the signing bonus though.
