My Dallas Cowboys didn't win today, which was a shame to me. I know there are others out there who are happy that their teams won and let me congratulate you in week one of this NFL season. Any early predictions as to who will be in the Superbowl early next year? Mine is the Cowboys and the Steelers!

I also follow the Cowboys. I was glued to their website all during training camp and pre-season.

Today started out so good for them, they really put the wood to the Jags in the 1st quarter but my how quickly the tables turned on them. Costly penalties and not being able to stop the prolific:confused: Jags offense....I mean I knew their defense was stout but the O?

I'm a Dallas fan as well. The first drive was great, but the rest of the game was just mediocre. Superbowl picks would be too difficult right now. The Bengals and Chicago look good, but I haven't seen everyone play yet...

Carolina Panthers all the way, guys! Though, they lost yesterday, as well.

Jake D. had 3 ints? He was one of at least 3 'high profile' guys who had 3 picks yesterday, Drew Bledsoe being another.

The Bears defense looked good wearing Brett Favre's jersey all day on Sunday.

They sure made him look like a rookie. The time where he could've gone out on top has passed. I think he's in it for a little more money - and hopes of a great comeback. It won't be this year. It's time to put in the rookie QB...Brett is washed up; not that he has much help otherwise.

Hey, the Cowboy looked pretty good against Washington tonight. Hey, Shawn your "Chargers" played great today, too.

Boys still made a ton of mistakes but got lucky that WA's offense is so bad.

Case in point for the Boys, 8 dropped passes in the 1st half??? Come on! And another ~ 9 penalties.

BUT darn nice to see Mike V. make a 50 yarder!!! PTL ;)

Bummer on TO's finger though...more missed practice :(

The only hope I normally have as Detroit Lions is that we will get to waste another Heisman winner. Otherwise, I can kick into real time supressed memory and think only about the Red Wings, Pistons, and Tigers

who else besides Det has a long history of striking out in with high draft picks?

Cin comes to mind pre-Marvin....then again, I think with QB's it's hit or miss anyway!

Da Bears have a history of drafting really sucky, weird, offensive players in first round.

    Curtis Enis
    Rashan Salaam
    Cade McNown
    Anthony Thomas
    David Terrell
    Marc Colombo
    And now Cedric Benson

right! forgot about all those gems ;)

probably every team has their list of choices they'd like to forget.

Is David Terrell still in the league?
Cedric is a bust huh? I haven't followed his progress or lack thereof

    Not sure about Terrall....and I don't care.

Cedric is apparently a strange dude and the rest of the team doesn't like him.

And his pass protection blocking is a liability so he probably wont see much time until that improves.

Personally, I'd like to see Adrian Peterson get more carries. Thomas Jones just ins't explosive enough.

a strange RB out of TEXAS?
hmmm, where have we seen that before!! :p :p

*PPB seems to hold a lot of backs back.

Dallas has one in Tyson Thompson- faster than heck but still hasn't figured out the PPB and therefore a huge liability.
