As said by Zuckerberg, Facebook is set to launch a new feature next week. It possibly might be in the mobile or tablet arena. Some feel its FB iPad app, while others feel that it is an HTML5 platform to take on Apple's App Store. Could it be the integration of Skype to provide video chat to take on Google+ which provides "Hangout", a video conferencing solution. Since Skype's new owner Microsoft is in very good terms with Facebook. What do you guys feel
what? skype owner is Micorsoft now? I need to update my self may be Facebook will work on security issues
Now facebook have to do something to keep it's position. I am expecting them to launch Video Calls and it's possible in GMail.
Facebook's Video Chat that would be powered by Skype which is now owned by Microsoft who's rival Google has recently launched a Social Network with a great Video Chat features. Things are getting interesting
According to an anonymous source interviewed by TechCrunch, Facebook is going to introduce video chat next week, and that service will be powered by none other than Skype. And while the service will be browser-based, it's also said to include a desktop component. We'd say none of that sounds too fantastical -- video calls would be a logical extension of Facebook chat.
if anybody wants to be informed, then here is the link for the public event on facebook https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=131900996893302
