I rolled back to XP Sp2 after upgrading may hardware to support Vista, it still wouldn't function correctly (nothing would install).

it will be the same as vista, you'll need a very fast computer to use it

i think people need to use common sense, so what if your computer can't run the latest version. chose the best for your computer... if you have a good computer use the one that you feel thats best! if not, use the one that runs best! if windows 7 can only be used by higher spec computers, so be it, get a new computer. really we should all have a relativly up to date computer.

100% chance that it will not support 256mb ram, if they want to make it better than vista i'm guessing that you will need the same specs as vista needs or probably even better.

My guess is they are hoping for it to look like MAC's leopard OS

I read that a lot of the things that they wanted to add to Vista they didn't get done programming them like a new file system so to release vista on time they dropped them, all those new updates will be added to Windows 7

i hope they make the windows version 7 more faster and more stable than Visat, it will be a miracle if they manage to make it better than XP, i have got my fingers crossed for it..
it would be great to use a different operating system that is better than XP
