Next PR update?

    Is there a way to determine when the next PR update will be? And when was the last PR update, if anyone knows?

    Google updates PR as he wants, but lately he is updating PR every about 3 months, so update should be close. And the last PR update? Yes it was 2005 Oct 19

    Does it take just one day to update PR for all of google's listings? I would think it took longer.

    In recent times (2-4 days) we have noticed some flactuations in PR arround most of our sites. So may be within few days google will start to update PR as you already know Google finished reindexing Back links on 22 nd December 2005. So you may expect in any days in this month or Early Feb

    This is not a prediction from me, but most of the threads I have come across regarding this target a date of January 25th. Some sooner, some later, but this is about the average date if you put them all together.

    Not that it means anything.

    Sorry to bump in on a question: if I launch my site, say, 2 weeks before the next PR update, will I get something from it? Say, PR 2 or PR 3?

    If the next dance is around 26th Jan, then I better finish up my site well before that.

    When there's an update, the data has been colected about 2 weeks before.

    Remember: The "PR update" is just an update of the PR shown at the toolbar ("exported PR"). Internally Google updates more frequently, so it is not important to finish your site right before the "PR (export) update".

    The only reason to wait for the exported update is if you want to "sell" your site and have to prove a high PR.
