    I wanna know too, also, if I buy a 30 day backlink, what gives me the guarantee Google will index it in the next 30 days to affect my PR??

    Check right at the bottom of DP -- Coming Events- 7th September is Google's birthday.
    IMHO- they will celebrate it with the introduction of new algo and PR update that would make most of us cry.:(

    I guess from reading some of the posts, most people are wondering about the already Late update that isn't here yet as I am also. I got my hopes up 2 months ago and then again last month. Maybe they took the summer off and haven't returned yet. We're waiting............we're waiting....???????

    Yes, the update is already a month late. And google is thinking about stopping PR. (or make it less powerfull)

    I don't think they will stop it, as it's part of their algorithm. They might take it away from public view though.

    I don't mind waiting... I've got *ok* PR and since I don't buy links I like having the extra time to build them up a bit more! :)

    It's been a while though since the last one so it would be nice to see it this month. If nothing else it'll give us something new to talk about! ;)
