I think the toolbar PageRank update every three months . However real PR in algorithm is probably updated more often

Try to see the difference between Google Directory and Google Toolbar for the same domain.

Like many said on here, PR doesn't have much affect anymore but I'm excited about the update because I have been link building and working hard. Want to see if my work have paid off. As well as dont you guys just love the little green box? Its almost like google made it so that the more green in the box, then the more green inside your pocket.

    at least...

    FYI:
TBPR Export: Toolbar PageRank Export - export of Real PR to the Toolbar PR 11 unit scale (no longer called a PR update as Real PR is updated continously and the Toolbar PR change is just an export of that updated value)..
    .
PR/BL Estimations: Average days between the last 5 exports.
    Year Date Info Days
2006 Waiting TBPR Export Estimation Oct 11 56
2006 Waiting GDPR Export Estimation Mar 19 261
2006 Waiting BL Export Estimation Aug 15 56

    and...
What is an update? Google updates its index data, including backlinks and PageRank, continually and continuously. We only export new backlinks, PageRank, or directory data every three months or so though. (We started doing that last year when too many SEOs were suffering from “B.O.”, short for backlink obsession.) When new backlinks/PageRank appear, we’ve already factored that into our rankings quite a while ago. So new backlinks/PageRank are fun to see, but it’s not an update; it’s just already-factored-in data being exported visibly for the first time in a while.

Google also crawls and updates its index every day, so different or more index data usually isn’t an update either. The term “everflux” is often used to describe the constant state of low-level changes as we crawl the web and rankings consequently change to a minor degree. That’s normal, and that’s not an update.

If youre listed in DMOZ, go to the Google directory and find your site listing, you will then see your current PR and not the toolbar PR.

I only have one site in DMOZ, I wish I had more. Far as I'm concerned that is the best use of DMOZ lol

I'm asking myself again and again if google is still giving importance to PR or if it's just a number that does not count at all.

I would love having a well indexed PR0 site rather than a 1 year old site that has been indexed for 10% and has got PR6 (one of my sites :( )...
