    Hello,

Away from all the religion confilcts out there..
I have an adsense ad that says Next Pope Is John Paul II that has been appearing on my pages (over 60 domains of different interest) all the time.

I have tried to do everything possible to track the word that is triggering the ad but i failed. I understand that i can ban that particular site but this is not my point. I want to learn some more information about why, and how can that ad appear almost everywhere? What is happening?

I'd love to know what the advertiser's intention with that ad is...

It is not always that an ad gets tirggered by a certain keyword, sometimes they also get triggered by themes, may be the theme of that page is somewhat related to that ad.

It could be possible that someone does this on purpose.. perhaps even if he isnt interested in the pope.. because just of money.. but i dont think so..

But I checked his site: http://www.worldslastchance.com/index.php?p=next_and_last_pope.php

I think we have to deal with some freaks.. but that's only my opinion..

I have some news related topics.. perhaps when it comes to war and politics that you get such crap.. i am going to block him.. :)

I heard many rumors couple years ago, when the Pope was John Paul II, that whoever replaced him (John Paul II) will be the last Pope (hint: the end of the world )
well.. start doing good karma, peepz :p

    (no, I don't trust that rumor ;))

It's not a rumor. It's a profecy from S. Malaquias. The last pope will be the 112 pope (Ratzinger is the 111), then it's the end of the church.

Let's see how it goes... ;)

And i've also seen those ads in a lot of different sites.

I can simply not believe that there arent more important things to think about. What do you think that will happen if the next is the last one. Nothing. Governments will place a new one. Or do you think there is no christianity or catholisism anymore..

Thats all crap.. people should simply believe what they want to.. and thats it.. believe and agression is not similar. People abuse believes to get money. That's something else. And by the way, in Europe etc.. everyone stays quiet. But if something happens. There are allready germans in lebanon and japan wants an army. Whatever happens.. there will always be a new pope.. even if its just for the people or commercials :)..

No matter what the topic of my website, I keep getting the "Next Pope is John Paul II" ad. It's crazy.

Most of my sites are artistic related. Website layouts, photoshop tutorials, etc.

It's really weird, I see that same ad everywhere and it's bugging the hell out of me. LOL

I have seen it many times, on low paying sites. This ad is IMO really very cheap.

I can see that too since they are probably targetting almost every keyword. I haven't visited the site yet but it's annoying to see this ad on a page about recipes.

This is such a silly website. I can't believe these people are wasting their money on adwords for this.
