Lol, so the next google update should be this month or next month? I forgot when the last update was heh.

What was the title before?

 

The previous title was just Google Update (PR).

I think last PR update was around April 4.

 

Someone told me it is going to happen tomorrow

 

Google promises...if nobody asks for a whole week they'll do it.

 

I also heard that Google won't do update until they drop off of the Top 3 Search Engine

 

Rumour is spreading that Google is no longer doing PR updates by their regular means. Apparently, they now look at the number of posts on DP!!!! The more posts, the higher PR.

Here's the breakdown:

1-500 posts (all sites will go to PR0)
501-1000 posts (PR will rise to PR1)
1001-2000 posts (PR2)
2001-3000 posts (PR3)
3001-5000 posts (PR4)
5001-10000 posts (PR5)
10001-20000 posts (PR6)
20001-50000 posts (PR7)
50001-100000 posts (PR8)
100001-1000000 posts (PR9)
over 1000000 posts (PR10)
over 10000000 posts (back to PR0 - treated as ludicrous posting)

There hasn't been a real PR update since September 2005.

It is. It's just not shown every week.

What we see every three months or so, is a PR export.

 

Yes, also called a Tool Bar PR update and like I said, the last normal one occured September 2005.
