Next Major Pagerank Update Google

I have a question:
Is it already clear when the next major pagerank update will take place?

I know PR isn't important for ranking etc. But I need it for a website of my. I have to attract writers to my site (they can put links in articles), but they of course don't want to write on a PR0 site. Probally the PR will go to 5 when the next update is here.

So my question: When will there be a next major PR update?

I guess june or july. What make you to believe you will jump from PR0 to PR5? That's a very biiiiig jump...the normal jumps are to PR1-PR3

 

No way to say. PR updates are being less and less predictable (and less frequent, too). I'm not sure Google knows, either...

 

I agree with Miroslav, you can't really predict them anymore since it took so long for the last update to arrive.
I think you should focus on driving traffic to your site and use that as a bait for writers.

 

I know it is a big jump But it has nice backlinks

 

I am indeed going to focus myself on the traffic. But I think more people will be attracted when it has a high PR.
And I think the traffic will work, because the posts are very fast indexed in google

 

I really think it would be in august.

 

Who knows? Hopefully not anytime soon. I also don't think your page would jump down that far...unless you've put all your eggs in one basket.

 

we want our pr0 sites jump up ,as we all hope the gg pr update soon.

 

Like others have stated, it's hard to really guess if not impossible. If someone guesses the right month it was just luck on their part is all. I don't see at this point how they could have actually calculated it wold have occurred.

 

In my opinion only Google knows when will the next update happen.

Yep, no exact date on when updates going to happen.. Just concentrate on what you do best and who knows you might get want you want and that's jumping from 0 to 5. Good luck.

 

By no way you can jump from PR-0 to PR-5.

Well I was hoping for such a thread very soon and was amazed no one has ever started a thread asking for the same shitty question about pagerank updates. If you content is unique and best suited to your viewers and advertisers, it doesnot have whether you have a PR0 or PR5. What matters is how fast your new content gets indexed and how good are you in writing the perfect word and placing the keywords at appropriate places. So my advice forget about the pagerank update and concentrate on building your content more attractive

I know it is not all about PR, not at all!! But if you read my first post you see that I am looking for writers. They don't want to write on a PR0 website (because they can get their links from every page on that website) but the posts are indexed very quickly. The main page is PR6 (website I'm talking about is the subdomain) and it is linking to my website.
In the eyes of google, has the main website a very high authority, and that's why the posts are indexed already quickly!

no the time is soon as more then 3 months already passed for last update.

 

I am hoping it will be soon. Like in 1 week or something
I have a few websites where the PR is going up from n/a to a higher PR
Then I gget for some reason more advertisers (They do look at your PR) And for the website where people are going to write for also needs PR

 

You can only do your part, the update is all depend on google. Just do your work and wait for the update, that's all
