haha! At least there was some communication. Earlier I had sent 4 messages thru PP and every time I got a standard email from them which of course had 0 solutions. So this is something I am positively hopeful about. (And "will" is 100x better than "may" or "can" )
I called them up on Monday using the toll Free no...I wad given a CASE - ID....I sent them the fax of my PAN card yesterday and called them again...i was told that i will get a confirmation email once they receive the fax...Last night i got the email...now the email states... The documents have been successfully attached to your PayPal account and will be reviewed shortly. We review documents in the order in which they are received and generally require three to five working days to process these documents. Once we process your documents, we will contact you about the status of your PayPal account. I will suggest..its better to call them using skype using their toll free no..You will be prompted for ur email id and last 4 digits of bank account...Then when u will start explaining...the support would say..i have created a CASE - ID...send the documents through fax to the no 001 402 5375731 ....Fax your document...mentioning the Case - ID and Email id....Then call them again...I hope my case will get resolved soon....so also yours
That "Shortly" is NOT as short as they say it. Mine "short" is 7 business days long now and they have nothing else to say on calling other than "Sir, We are sorry but its still under review" When asked, "Can you give me any time frame for the same?", Answer is "Sir, We are sorry , we can't !" When asked, "Will it be done by next year or in 2014?", Answer again is "Sir, We are sorry but status is, its still under review" When asked, "Are you people nuts? don't you understand the gravity of situation", NUTS again answer as "Sir, We are sorry for inconvenience but status is, its still under review" Enjoy "SHITPAL"
I called up Paypal they were very professional.....considering that they must have got tons of calls for irate customers..... they sounded well prepared. they said they would remove limitation within 3-4 days KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED

are they waiting for INR/USD exchange rate to come back to 44 , then they will restore our a/cs to normal? well it seems like this only, my a/c was blocked last friday and they told me it would take 72 hrs, but now its gonna be a weel almost...it could be possible due to weekends and other holidays occurred this week, but seriously the delay is pissing me off....all my business has been stuck due to this....and since there are more holidays coming, i am afraid anything positive would happen before coming monday :/
Mine also was blocked last friday..... They told me the same thing the last time I called. Hopefully it will get resolved soon
I have got 3 such emails , as delayed replies (approx after 6 business days during the previous 20 days duration) JUST SIMPLE CANNED COPY-PASTE SHIT ! And this was in response to some 9 emails sent. THEY DON'T EVEN CARE TO REPLY TO EMAILS which has some ANGER SHOWN or IN WHICH REALITY IS EXCRETED ON THEIR FACE ! Calling them is lot better than emails though the former doesn't guarantee anything! Talking with those bunch of DIMWIT idiots (at least those junior agents who first pick up calls) is no different than emailing ! ENJOY "SHITPAL"

I am really happy to see someone getting the issue resolved, i just called them again and the girl tried to do something and then told me, it will take 24-48 hrs more, to get the issue resolved, she said, they also work on weekends, so i will call them up on sunday again if its not resolved by then...
Paypal is strictly enforcing to check valid PAN nos, as directed by indian authorities. There has been recent news that many people are using fake pan to register with paypal to get around the regulations and earn money. be sure your PAN matches exactly with your business or personal name (dont use initials). It not paypal will give you headaches. if you are facing with limitation problems then reason is most likely mismatch. If thats the case, the only remedy is change your name accordingly in PAN or change the name in Paypal account. If you cant change the name in your paypal, then the only way is close existing account and create new one, that exactly matches with name in PAN card.
