Is there anyplace I can check to see when the next Google update will be and what my potential ranking will be after?

Are there any data centers that are returning any sort of new results? I saw a bunch of tools that were pining updated data centers before big daddy rolled out.
If you Google 'Future PR Prediction' you will find some arbitrary tools that might give you some sort of indication of PR, but that has no direct correllation with your ranking for certain keywords so it's all rather pointless. SERPs are reorganised on an almost daily basis anyway, the era of 'monthly updates' has long passed. Search for 'McDar Ranking Tool' to find such a datacentre tool. Some might show different results which might or might not indicate change to come.
well normally it happens in 3 months so you can say it's going to happen aroudn mid october. But I think like others, you too should be more concern about traffic rather than google update.
