We have a feeling the next google update will be coming really soon. It's been a very long time. anyone else have any updates lately? Our team of 12 SEO experts have been continously promoting sites for good rankings in all the search engines lately so hopefully we see a huge boos for our clients.
Well considering the last update was only completed 2 1/2 months ago.. i would suspect there is still a month or so before a major update.
I think major update maybe in last week or September or 1st week of October, I found minor updates where 2 of my profiles have received PR & many pages on my website have received pr 0
None of my 93 websites have changed but SE placement is really great. PR doesn't mean anything to me. If you have good PR it is only good for selling links which google is against, so why worry about it. I'd rather have good traffic from being on the first page of SE's.
benchrest, you totally right. I raised this comment several times in many threads, but people so obsessed with PR, that they don't care about traffic.
I have already seen PR update for inner pages of one website but not for home page.. Hope it will update soon..
minor updates are already made as far as I know.. I just don't know if major updates are really coming.
I create sites and then sell them once they are generating rev / traffic... PR means squat in real world terms, it takes 1-2 weeks to have a site earning $1-2 per day.. yes the more you work on it the more revenue / traffic it will generate but in the past ive owned as high as PR6 sites and have had sites with no PR earning more revenue and getting better traffic, PR weight is nothing like it once was... Yes PR is nice for a brief measurement of how hard you have worked but really this day and age PR really is not a fair / accurate assessment of a website, Many Many other factors are more important. Certainly no update underway.. like i said above.. the last major update was 2 & 1/2 months ago.. in recent times Major PR Updates have been occurring less frequently sometimes up to 5 months a part.. and as many long term webmasters will know.. towards the end of the year updates are much slower than early / mid year updates.. so if people want to start putting time stamps on the next major update.. i would say early November will be the next Major PR update.. give or take 2 weeks.. but with that said Google is Google and can produce updates if and when they feel like it... Google have been acquiring new ventures / businesses of late so they will be busy atm.. i don't see a PR update happening this month... Sorry to disappoint all the webmasters who check PR daily lol.. Amateur Webmasters: Check PR Daily (i used to be one of them) Semi Pro Webmasters: Check PR once every few months Pro webmasters: Check PR only after DP has 100 new threads with titles similar to this: "PR update underway !!!!!" "New PR UPDATE !!!!" etc etc.. you get my drift lol When DP has 100's of new threads on PR you know a update has occurred.
i havent noticed any page rank moves recently. but i will hope for a few of my pages to get bumped up this update
