    i have told many times, that pr is not important. i was few years ago just like you guys and i wanted high pr for my websites. but i have realized that pr is not money but traffic is. i have websites with 6 and 7 pr but my websites with 1 and 0 pr make more money for me and i am happy with that.

    PR helps sell adspace though. Sure, traffic is 10x more important than pagerank, but pagerank is important as well.

    Yes but pagerank doesn't actually mean anything, its just a little bit of green on a bar. The sooner people realise that, the better! And it only comes with good backlinks.

    I am all for pagerank updates and I am looking forward to seeing a change across my sites, but I am not going to sit here every day counting the seconds down to the update, in the mean time I will carry on optimising and building quality links back to my site.
