there are still many businesses that block firefox being run on their corporate computers. They claim its a security problem. which is BS!
The main problem I have with IE is not its speed, its the fact that it reads almost all code incorrectly, I have almost never had coding problems in FF, only in IE, so if IE causes programming problems for web designers and is slower then FF, why are people still using it? Its one of those stupid "it comes installed" things again, if Microsoft would just throw in the towel, and install firefox by default on all windows machines we'd be alright, but since they insist on having there little market share...
Anyone still bringing this up doesn't realize that the problems associated with that were fixed in FF2.0. We're now up to 3.0.9 so get over it.
That is great news. I have been a die hard Firefox user when it comes to tweaking or modifying my blog. IE Sucks... always did and probably always will. However, when it comes to browsing I love the super lightweight Chrome
I'm really looking forward to the new FF release. What I would love to see is some built-in "addons" that are by default disabled. Also maybe an option for sets of addons, so you could easily switch from "web developer view" to "quick browsing view".
