Yeah I tried IE8 and it was still extremely slow, they never upgrade, they are still way behind firefox when it comes to speed.

If surfing the websites like youtube or or some websites where i just need to see the content without extra functions i use Google Chrome since it seems fastest on my comp+no extensions make it load very quickly and i like the design, however i use FF for its great addons...I use IE the least i guess, mostly when i need to test something to see if IE is rendering stuff differently.... I do not like IE... Mostly because of its halts when opening new tabs and if you click while pressing ctrl+t it will give you the message that IE has crashed on my machine, but if someone prefers IE then we still have to keep the compatibility since they seem to do most of the things their way... IE also seems to be the one that crashes most often as well when browsing on my machine.... But if someone likes it, just go ahead and use it :)

That's good news, b/c right now my FFox uses like 750 Megs of RAM, gues that's b/c I have like 200 tabs open :p But it has become real resource-hog software, but it still light years ahead IE. Good thing that developers concentrate on performance.

Internet Explorer feels slow becuase it loads all the objects and loads them once they are all organised. FireFox loads them as they come, which is just as bad for me.

IE won't die with the weight of Microripoff behind it.

I haven't tried IE 8, but I try not to use MS product unless I need to.

I do not understand when they say it's going to be faster than IE.. Doesn't it depend on your Internet strengh? (Good Internet connection etc)

For example, just one of the good things about google chrome is my friend sent me a joke website where you couldn't get it off the screen and it say "Hello" all the time when you tried to close it, but google chrome just says do you want to stop these errors and bang it stops :)

I started using firefox more often lately. I use a laptop and noticed how firefox runs the system much cooler and the laptop does not get that hot as in I E. and does not freeze up like I E does.
