Current speeds of FF are very bad, If they wont fix it in the 3.5 I'll move to IE8

So, even though Firefox is better, and you know it, why would you choose ie8 when it's such a dud?

Yeah, but Chrome has been a LOT faster than the new Firefox, in my experience.

I switched to opera for faster surfing and use firefox for SEO work. If only firefox is as fast as opera... well..

I switched to Firefox about 6 months ago from IE and haven't looked back. Now I tell everyone about it. I feel like a smoker who quits and then explains how other smokers are idiots for still smoking. hehe. :)

I don't see how that is possible. Currently I only notice a slight difference in page load speed between ff & ie, ff is faster but not a huge anount faster and when it comes to startup time ie kicks ff's backside.

Didn't you read anything? We're talking about FF version 3.5 not the current version. And if your only decision point for a browser is how fast it loads, then you shouldn't be commenting.

    I'm waiting eagerly for it.
I love its Tab Resume feature and the way we can customize it.
In my opinion, no browser offers this much customization.
