Next Big Project

I can't believe this. It seems that at least two other people started the same type of new concept web directories independently at the same time I had my idea: SponSpot and Web Directory List. I thought it was going to be a unique new idea. I got the idea of combining a system similar to The 100 Lists with a directory. Even though I had my idea before their releases, the directory design and finalizing was not complete. I could have released it before today, but I wanted to ensure everything was perfect first. So, they got to announce theirs first. Anyway, congrats to the other two new sites and good luck to them.

Big Web Links is going to be my next big project. I have already begun the heavy promotion for it. Over the next days, it will build more and more each day. If anyone would like to get in early, feel free to do so. If two listings have the same bid amount, the one submitted first will appear above. This works with the top links and homepage also. The top 10 contributing listings are shown on the homepage, and the top 20 are shown on the top links pages for maximum exposure and link value. Additional funds can be added to listings later also, if so desired. If anyone has a question or comment, just let me know.

 

Yes it is very funny since we were talking about how we had new ideas for directories which turned out to be exactly the same! Anytime mystikmedia releases a new directory it is best to submit your links since we all know how hard he works in gaining high PR. Good luck to your directory and as you already know I have already submitted a premium link since I am confident your site will grow quickly.

 

Chris, your name stands for quality. I submitted to most of your directories. This project sounds good, and almost all your sites are great, except for the word cloud site http://www.alivekeywords.com. Word cloud sites, speaking frankly, are definitely link farms because all the links on them are located in one page and they're not organized into themed subjects, although I know your site has strong backlinks. As one of your fans, I do not suggest you develop word cloud sites.

The concept is nothing new. I am on the way to make one now too I can actually release it if I want to. But I thought I would wait till get PR.

Releasing new idea with PR0 somehow always give people less impression. Or so I think

I know link bidding directory may become popular soon. Well, I've got another one after that then

Do you have to manually approve each link?

 

I would not have to, but I choose to. Once it is approved, you can add funds to a listing in real-time. Just the initial approval is the only part that is not immediate.
