Next and recent google images update?

I'm sorry, but I just cant find this info, and am a bit lost.
Anyone has the info when was the last google images cache update and how often do they do it, meaning when can we expect another one?

I'm just doing some testing, and would like to know how to test...

they are doing some cache update every minute.

 

images rankings are updated pretty late by google bot. I don't know why but optimizing for image search never worked for me.
I prefer yahoo image search now

 

well, I have a web store and my images were not in the cache at all, so Im waiting to see if they grad and show some of them...

I never checked yahoo images, but now I see that they have images from my store, that are not there at least a year or more... So obviously they are not fast with updating the cache ...

 

Have you enabled the image labeller option in your google webmaster tools.
Also, they have enhanced image search feature

 

I've done it, I have the links to my pictures broken, so now I've fixed it and need to wait for the next update...
