Hi, My friend has asked me to help him with the promotion of his new website which sells sex toys, condoms etc. The branding of the website is like ann summers - fun and a little bit naughty, but certainly not seedy in anyway. Anyway he is launching the site at the end of this week and he has asked me about the possibility of using affiliates and paying them commission to bring sales to the site while we work on the SEO... Which affiliate programmes would you guys recommend*, bearing in mind they will need to accept a new (but high quality) website into their network? The website will be very competitive priced and we are keen to give affiliates a fair rate of commission to get our site up and running with sales as quickly as possible *I did try and search for this information but I wasn't getting anything relevant back so I thought I would tap directly into the DP knowledge base Thanks!
I'd consider a dating site - most offer affiliate programs and then you can choose one just focussing on the UK; I don't do adult myself so don't know specific names but I have looked into it in the past. Naturally you don't want to affiliate with another toy store as you will be in direct competition.
