    Does anyone use this? I am trying to understand it's benefits but at the moment don't really see it a more than a social bookmarking site.

    I haven't try but so far I know Newsvine is a news website rather than a social bookmarking site.

    Newsvine is a popular social bookmarking site but it is a strict one. You should be careful in submitting to it because the site can either delete the links immediately or ban your account if your link is not news-worthy.

    i am using newsvine from many months...one of my account was blocked because breaking their rules..now another is going fine
