Hi, I need to start a newspaper kind of site to publish articles for my college newspaper. Now i can custom code all the features it needs but i DO NOT want to waste my time with all of this knowing the many free CMS out there. So my question is which is the best CMS to use that has these features. - Article posting by date. - User system sign up for mailing list and comment posting - friendly so that i can integrate other scripts to it, ie phpadsnew - poll system preferred. i want it to be source code friendly so i can edit/add features as needed i never used any blogging system... anyone know what i can use? Hi, Have a look at these sites: http://www.wordpress.org/ http://www.mamboserver.com/ and its offshoot http://www.joomla.org/ There are more out there but I have no experience with them. Good luck.
