newsgroups and adsens

    hello i was planning on advertising my sites on some newsgroups (posting messages with link to the sites, the sites are proxies) but i don't know if google would consider that like a breach of TOS, can i advertise my links like that if the groups are not dedicated to proxies or if i am not a member of them?
