For content ideas use : google.com/trends For content ideas : use the same trend result pages - news articles Hot fresh news, even if you use a blog, you can grab the related search terms on trends and use them as the posts tags.
There are a lot of writers out there who will submit articles to your site, providing they can put in their url. Go to such sites as Askmen, About, Yahoo, MSN..., and contact them. They have their url, click on it so you can contact them via their site. There are also news feeds you can put in your site. Do a search for that term to find such services. You can also copy and past pieces you may find out there. Just give them credit at the end of the piece.
cant you fill it with live Rss feeds from bigger news feeds such as yahoo google etc...? correct me if im wrong but im sure i seen it before! Regrds, B.
Big no!no! if you are using Adsense .... equals MFA .... trust me I used this news method (like in my first post), I had a quick way to add RSS pieces to my posts and I would add a hot search term .... then the post title would automatically fill in my post .... was genius .... but it equals MFA.
If those articles, news pieces bring in a lot of traffic, and keeps them coming back, time after time, who cares. Yahoo, MSN and other news / entertainment sites certainly do not care. For good reason.
Not true at all .... if you have a mix of RSS feeds then you wont be mirroring any site, for instance one from Google Blogs, one from Google News, one from Yahoo search results and a image RSS search (on or in each post). But you may be banned from Google's index because it may be seen as a MFA.
Yeah this would be seen as an MFA site but how long would it last? If you could reliably say that you'd get year or two out of it before Google caught you would it be worth the effort? Quick win vs. longterm goals?
From experience .... I had a site built up to 10 000 uniques per day, took two weeks of constant posting though - there's a method for auto posting (not as effective) and manual posting (takes 30 seconds a post) which is much more effective and what I used. I was up to $60 a day (Adsense) and was banned within the month .... however I did sell a link or two also. I wasn't banned from Adsense - but the site was de-indexed and erased from Google.
i have contacted AP and AFP news agencies for licensing. dont know how much that costs! i wouldnt risk adsense just by making MFA with feeds
