Recently we changed all the URL structures of our news travel business forum site to make it "seo friendly." It was a big decision to start with. We already ranked in many keywords though we were using dynamic urls. But we had to make the necessary change. Did it pay off? Alexa data showed that our site traffic dropped - 19% in 3 months. Though we are optimistic that things will improve in the coming days as there is a +9% increase in the current month, we are still a bit confused whether we are doing the right thing. Because reviews would say we are in the wrong direction, then we might as well revert back to dynamic URLs. Please see the news travel forum here.
