For News sites, I'm thinking of daily updates of either a specific niche of Video Games such as "Adventure Gaming News" or celebrity "Lady Gaga News". For Article sites, it would be something about "Creativity Tips" where I add random articles without any chronological order. I plan to blogs for both of them. Is there an advantage of one over the other? And are News + Article sites generally good for AdSense? Thanks.
I don't know if you will be able to update both at the same time, you should pick 1 work hard on it till you have a strong base of visitors then you could start another 1,
Depends on the quality of the news site. If you are just scraping news from other sites you won't get much momentum in the search engines. Plus, I would imagine it would be more difficult to get natural links, unless you were first to publish the news. Article sites can do well with adsense if you publish good content.
Yes, the better and more content, the more Google will pick up on it. If its good the traffic will come. If your ads are positioned well the you should do very good. Good Luck.
