I have a news site that is primarily based on the war in the Middle East. I spent a lot of my time setting everything up, and now that that is done, I want to get some people coming to it. I have already done Meta tags and description, submitted a sitemap, put my site into a lot of search engines, and the site has a PR4. Is there anything else I should do? I only have around 10-20 uniqes daily with around $.20/day, which is bad in my opinion since it is PR4. :D Any advice?

    Three ideas for you -

    1. Comment, appropriately, on other news sites that have stories or audiences that may be related to your site's topic.
    2. Offer editorial writing opportunities to bloggers or others with a point of view (in exchange for a link from their site, of course).
    3. Feed ideas and original stories to the giants of the news and blogging world, e.g. Instapundit, Michelle Malkin, Huffington, etc.

    Good luck! :)
