news/sidebar auto height

hi guys,

i have a news/sidebar on my site. at the bottom i have a picture that i need to be moved right to the bottom of every page to complete part of the bottom. i need to get the sidebar to do a automatic height to make the news/side bar longer. here is the link http://sitegen.co.uk/new/products/

but then you cannot use a liquid/fluid design when someone opens the site on a muh bigger screen it will not look right i do not like using that
