My site isn't a commercial site but a news/current events blog and community forum. I don't want to slap Adsense boxes all over it as I have a personal dislike for them. As my topic doesn't seem to be a very poular one on these forums it's very difficult to find ideas for monetizing it. Can anyone make any suggestions on any news related affiliate progs out there? Many thanks in advance.
Unless people are searching for products then affiliate links are not going to work very well. Try using CPM banners instead.
If you have a lot of trafic you can use CPM if not, try with CPA campaigns for your different news topics (sports, politics, music and so on)
