I'm looking for 2 re-writers to join our team who can produce quality news re-writes from the top news stories of the day. You will need to be able scan multiple news sources and create rewritten 350 -500/word stories from those sources. Minimum of 3 articles per day and turn around time per story needs to be within a 3-6hr time frame. Old news is not acceptable. First story needs to be ready by 8am EST on the day. The site you will be published on is an accredited Google News provider. It is currently ranked by Quantcast @ 8.5k (U.S.) and 150k /13k with Alexa. My audience is 85% U.S. . Your re-written news story will be concise, factual and have a logical structure i.e. it makes sense. I don't want simple paragraph cut 'n paste and synonym replacement. This means you must take time to read your sources and understand clearly what they are reporting before you rewrite. From my own experience, a rewrite, depending on topic takes 20 - 40 minutes. Your English and grammar must be of U.S native speaker level. Not of Indian or Filipino English standard i.e. a U.S/UK reader could not pick from the grammar/phrasing or sentence structure that the story was not written by a native US writer. Note: I'm not excluding non -native writers from applying, I'm just setting the standard required for the rewrites. There is a very high chance your published story, depending on topic keywords/phrase will appear in the number 1-3 spot on Google News, and in all likelihood also in normal Google organic search if it is #1 in GN. All stories are permanently indexed in GN News Archive, unlike normal organic search results. You have 3 options for setting your rates. 1) Standard: You can quote a standard rate per word. 2) Backlinks and Author Attribution:. You may write under your own chosen name, with a 4 line bio on the Team page and a link to a site of your choosing (must be approved). In return I get a steep discount on your normal rate/word 3) Paid on Article Performance + Backlinks and Author Attribution: You will get a base fee of $2/news item (yes, I'm aware that is crap if it was a standard writing fee) The low fixed price is offset by a healthy performance based structure that can pay up to an extra $30+/article. The performance metric is based on article views (U.S > 80%). It works in 5k increments. It is not uncommon to score 5-15k+ unique’s from one article within 24hrs of publishing. And in all fairness, it's not uncommon to only score 500 -3k visits. This option is a good one for those that think they have a ‘nose’ for popular stories. Daily statistics from StatCounter are made available to you. PM me your offers, questions and links to published samples.
