Am i getting the right idea about it? if anyone can point me in the right direction please, im not sure what i have to do to post these feeds onto my blog, if thats possible?

So you'll have no original content of your own? At all?

My blog is already purely original content of my own, im just thinking that adding a little bit of news to it from a news site from time to time might be good too, i wouldn't want to keep the blog if i wasn't posting my own work there to be honest, i enjoy writing and posting to it.

Is it possible, what i would like to do?

    Here's an easy way:
Go to CNN and get the url to the feed...http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_tech.rss

    Go to HERE

Put the feed url in the top box and set your other options

Click preview to see if it works, if it does click "generate javascript"

Cut and paste the JS code into your webpage

If you want to use CSS to customize it ...go HERE

    Note:use own url for background-image
    Example

I would be cautious about adding a RSS feed to your site through a third-party server. If the server fails, you'll be stuck with a site that doesn't load, because it keeps trying to contact the third party server. Might want to consider running it through your own server just to be safe.

The "Feed2JS" service used in my example can be downloaded for installation just in case the 3rd party server goes bonkers: http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=download
