News Feeds and Site Visitors

    Has anyone been able to measure the increase (or decrease) of site visits and/or repeat visitors after adding news feeds to their site? I think it's a really cool idea and on the right site, there can be a significant value to including the right news feed. I'm interested if anyone has any data to support the addition.

    I haven't noticed an influx of visitors, but I did notice many visitors exiting the site to read the news articles. Great for an informational site, but for selling products to consumers it should be weighed carefully, IMO. Giving visitors too many doors to leave can reduce sales conversion.
