I run a PC gaming site, and we need a writer to help us handle the news section. This means posting a few news posts a day, short quick responses with a little bit of opinion or fun added, maybe a few links and a picture. These requirements are an absolute MUST and are non negotiable: English as a first language Genuine interest and opinion in PC gaming Reliable and able to do more or less work as required Flexible - This is a little bit of work a day kind of job rather than a ton of work at once Understand how to use a CMS. It isn't wordpress, but it works very similar. Here's what the work would involve: Rewriting and putting a new spin on stories from big PC news sites - Sources Given Checking out social bookmarking sites like Reddit, Digg for new stories Finding a relevant picture for each story using Google Images Interested? Please send me a 100-150 word news post of any of the days PC gaming news. Check out sites like Blue's News for the type of thing we'd be looking for. Try to add something of your own style into it rather than making it sound dry. I won't be using these posts on the site, they'll remain your copyright. Along with your sample post please include your rates. So you don't waste your time, anything that runs higher than $0.03 a word is out of our price range for now.
